Abstract
|
|
|
NEFA (Non-Esterified Fatty Acids) contents of Sera in healthy children was 452,uEl/L. and which of cerebrospinal fluid was 28 uEq/L.
In epidemic encephalitis (Japanese B type) and tuberculous meningitis, markedly increased NEFA contents were noted in the cerebrospinal fluid with little increase in the Sera.
More increased NEFA contents in the cerebrospinal fluid were noted in tuberculous meningitis than epidemic encephalitis.
